Raum für Resonanz — Ritterstraße 27, Germany

Therapy and seminar centre for constellations, yoga and sound, in Cologne

Raum für Resonanz sits at Ritterstraße 27 in Cologne. It describes itself as a holistic therapy and seminar centre for people who want to attend mindfully to their physical and mental health. Its stated promise is professional therapeutic support in a space that is aesthetic and conveys a sense of security. The operator is Jones & Falkson Raum für Resonanz GbR. The sound bath is the offering guests mention most. It runs 60 minutes: arrival, a guided meditation, a breathing exercise, then the bath itself. The instruments are Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, gongs, wind chimes and a tongue drum. Participants settle onto prepared sheepskin mats, ideally lying down, and the house supplies mats and blankets. No experience is required. Guests ask only that people stay quiet and still so the sound can do its work, and then stay in silence for a few minutes afterwards. Visitors name Aimée and David as the people who lead them. One guest, Magdalena, wrote on Google: "Ein Raum mit Herz." Around the sound bath sits a weekly schedule. Systemic constellations place individuals in the room as representatives and set them in relation to one another. The aim is to bring hidden dynamics into view and to loosen burdensome patterns. Dance and movement coaching uses the body to work through difficult experiences, trauma and emotion. The yoga offering includes Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, the guided practice between waking and sleep, accompanied by Tibetan singing bowls. A session called Yin meets Yoga Nidra combines the two. Co-meditation and movement meditation are also listed, and the room can be rented for seminars, courses and yoga. The day retreat pulls these threads together. The next one is Sunday, 22 November 2026, from 10:30 to 17:30, at 99 euros with catering and hot drinks included. It begins with arrival in silence, a yoga practice and Yoga Nidra. A first constellation follows, then a vegan or vegetarian lunch. After lunch comes a movement impulse and a second constellation. The day closes with a sound bath. Numbers are limited to keep the experience personal. Getting there is straightforward. Lines 12 and 15 and bus 127 serve the street, and the Saturn car park is on Ritterstraße. The building lies within Cologne's low-emission zone, so only vehicles with a green sticker may enter.
